With selectable shutter speeds, this outdoor long range IR bullet is exceptional for license plate capture projects (LPR). It has an incorporated 5-50mm ,3 megapixel rated, varifocal lens to bring images up close and tight. This large format lens allows greater light capture insuring a lower noise level and increasing sensitivity. LPR CCTV requires motion blur reduction which can be achieved with this Cortex® model.
The hardened metal case is designed to resist vandalism and tampering, making this camera good for
indoor or outdoor locations. A re-enforce wall mount bracket is recommended (COR-210)
