If you have more than 4 PTZ cameras then you will want to ask about the COR-RSD8
The COR-RSD8 provide a way to take a single input signal (in RS232 or RS485 format) and duplicate and distribute it across multiple outputs simultaneously. The COR-RSD8 has 8 outputs and the input signal can be RS232 or RS485. Output signals are RS485. This type of simultaneous transmission can be useful for pan/tilt/zoom cameras (PTZ), point of sale devices (POS) and access control equipment.
When you need to connect a single serial signal source to more than one piece if equipment ptz cameras point of sale products or a network of access control devices) up may find it necessary to provide each piece of equipment with its own signal. These serial data distributors take serial input signal duplicate it and distribute it across 4 output. Problems will feedback attenuation and signal loss are completely eliminated.
