This camera is designed for superior performance at night. It provides a completely glare free, reflection free and haze free night time image (or in the dark). It has a Sony™ CCD video sensor and Sony™ Effio™ video processing for ultimate image quality.
Immune to IR Glare
The special high intensity infrared LED is mounted on the top of the outside of the case. This makes the camera immune to infrared problems like haze, glare, and reflection from the inner surface of the dome. These cameras plague other manufacturers, but we've learned how to eliminate them for good using special materials, design and construction across our full product line of IR cameras. Don't fall for a cheap subsitution (look for a foam ring - that's a dead giveaway).
What's in the OSD Menu?
The OSD contains many features and has been designed to be understandable and easy to use. These features include PrePro, which is a time saving feature designed to quickly set all camera parameters to a known, good value, making set up time short and efficient. Other features include: advanced backlight compensation, including High Light masking, advanced privacy screening that employs multiple fields with color coding, transparency degrees and mosaicing options, adaptive tone reproduction (an advanced form of WDR) that lets you image a wider range of colors and tones when viewing scenes with high luminance and deep shadows.
